Training to strengthen integrity in medical institutions, organized by the NAC
The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC), in partnership with the General Directorate of Medical and Social Assistance of the Chisinau Municipal Council, carried out a training and counselling activity entitled "Ensuring Institutional Integrity Measures", intended for persons responsible for implementing integrity policies within municipal medical institutions.
The event aimed to promote an institutional climate based on integrity, responsibility and transparency in the health sector. Participants were trained on the effective application of integrity measures and policies, the responsibilities of managers in this process, as well as concrete ways to prevent corruption risks.
The training presented:
• Measures to ensure institutional integrity;
• Procedures for applying integrity policies;
• Managers' obligations in implementing and monitoring these policies;
• Models of institutional documents;
• Case studies, thematic analyses and video spots on integrity standards.
The activity was organized with the support of the project "Health Equity through Social Responsibility II", implemented by the Swiss Red Cross, in partnership with AO "CASMED" and AO "HOMECARE", with the financial support of the Swiss Government. The project aims to strengthen professional and institutional integrity, as well as increase the responsibility of employees in providing medical services to the population.
Through such initiatives, the NAC and its partners contribute to building a more transparent, fairer and more citizen-oriented medical system.
