About 700 people participated in the anti-corruption trainings organized by the NAC in Chisinau, Balti, Ocnița and Briceni

The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) conducted six trainings for 688 beneficiaries this week, aiming to strengthen institutional integrity, promote ethical conduct and prevent corruption risks. Beneficiaries include employees of public institutions in the fields of public order, border security, health and customs administration.

As part of the national campaign “Integrity – Safety for the Border”, officers of the NAC Anti-corruption Education Department, in collaboration with the Internal Protection and Anti-Corruption Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, conducted information sessions for employees of the Western and Eastern Regional Directorates of the Border Police. Their goal was to strengthen the climate of institutional integrity, promote ethical conduct and familiarize staff with the mechanisms for denouncing acts of corruption.

At the same time, the campaign to promote integrity in the health sector reached the staff of the Balti, Ocnița and Briceni Health Centers. Anti-corruption officers addressed the risks specific to the medical field, professional standards and legal instruments for preventing corruption. The NAC volunteers also actively participated in these actions, distributing informative materials and thematic leaflets to the public and medical personnel.

Also, the Customs Service employees benefited from training under the heading "Ensuring Institutional Integrity Measures". The session agendas included practical measures to prevent corruption, as well as the responsibilities of officials in respecting ethical norms while performing their duties.

The National Anti-corruption Centre continues its training and awareness-raising activities to strengthen the integrity climate in public institutions.
