Progress report on the implementation of the National Integrity and Anti-corruption Program for the years 2024-2028, heard during a meeting at the NAC
The annual meeting of the Monitoring Group of the National Integrity and Anti-corruption Program for the years 2024-2028 took place on April 24, 2026, at the premises of the National Anti-corruption Centre. During the meeting, the Progress Report on the implementation of the National Integrity and Anti-corruption Program for the year 2025, prepared by the National Anti-corruption Centre, which provides the function of the Secretariat of the Monitoring Group, was heard and approved.
From the data presented, the degree of achievement of the NIAP for the years 2024–2028 reflects a positive implementation dynamic, demonstrating the commitment of the authorities and institutions involved in promoting integrity, as well as in preventing and combating corruption. However, the sustainable success of the Program requires maintaining constant attention from the institutional management and flexibility to transform current challenges, which have been qualified as unfulfilled or partially fulfilled actions, into opportunities for improvement, thus ensuring sustainable progress in preventing and combating corruption at the national level.
The Monitoring Group meeting is a basic instrument of the monitoring mechanism for the implementation of the National Integrity and Anti-corruption Program for the years 2024-2028, to ensure the presentation of the progress of the implementation of the actions of the Program, the identification of good practices and implementation challenges. The composition of the Group is expressly stipulated, according to the functions, in point 71 of the Program, approved by Parliament Decision no. 442/2023 and includes representatives of public entities, the justice sector, the private sector and representatives of civil society. The list of members is published on the official website of the National Anti-corruption Centre.
